Shipping policy
Caviar is a perishable product and to ensure that it arrives fresh we only ship Express (Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air). Non-perishable items will be shipped by regular ground (3-5 business days). Every caviar order is packed and shipped in an insulated foam shipping box with ice gel packs. Our packaging will keep the caviar fresh for several days.
COVID-19
All shipping carriers are currently experiencing delays. This means we cannot guarantee delivery within the estimated time-frame, including express shipping methods. On our part we pack extra ice gel packs to make up for possible delays in shipping so that your order arrives fresh.
Shipping Fee
Shipping fee is calculated at checkout and is based on package weight and the destination address it is shipped to. We reserve the right to pass any additional charges due to incomplete or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer. Please check your information carefully before submitting your order.
Order Processing Time
Most orders placed Monday - Thursday before 3 PM Eastern (EST) will be processed and shipped the same day, but in rare instances please allow up to two business days for order processing and shipping. If we require longer than two business days we will contact you and let you know. Most orders placed Friday through Sunday will be processed the following business day. Please contact us for exact shipping times if specific dates are required.
Choice of Shipping Carrier
We reserve the right to choose a shipping carrier when shipping orders. Currently our carrier of choice is FedEx. If you placed your order for a specific carrier we will try to honor your choice but might ship with a different carrier of our choice using the same or a very similar delivery service.
Orders Below $500
Orders valued $500 or less will ship without signature requirement. If no one is present upon delivery the carrier might at their discretion leave the package. We are NOT responsible for any lost packages left by the carrier. If you feel it might not be safe for the carrier to leave the package please specify so during checkout (in the comments section). We will then upgrade to signature requirement.
Orders Above $500
Orders of $500 and above will ship signature required. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that someone will be available to sign for the package upon delivery. We are NOT responsible for any lost packages left by the carrier.
Free Shipping
Orders of $500 and up qualify for free expedited shipping. Overnight can be purchased at an additional cost shown at checkout.
Delivery Fallacies
We are not responsible for delayed deliveries due to heavy holiday shipping schedules, incomplete or incorrect delivery information, and Acts of God. Should your package be delayed while in carriers possession it is the responsibility of the carrier to indemnify any losses sustained by you.
US Orders
We ship anywhere within the Continental US. We ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico for an additional fee.
Shipments to PO Boxes
We do not ship to PO boxes.
International Orders
We do NOT accept International orders and do NOT ship overseas.
